About Us
Beginnings:
ACS Started as an initiative of our small family run business "Africa Barrel and Bow Safaris", which was established 11 years ago.
Habitat & Wildlife:
The first piece of property that was acquired, was found in a state of being terribly over grazed by livestock and the game were depleted by poaching… In time we managed to rehabilitate this area. The numbers of resident species of fauna started recovering, due to relentless anti-poaching efforts. To date, most of the species that used to occur here naturally, have been re-introduced and are thriving.
People:
We have been blessed with the privilege of managing and caring for this peace of creation! It is our goal to share this peace of paradise with other people, so that it can be a blessing to them as well.
Youth:
The burden on our heart is especially for the youth. We believe that so many young people today are diagnosed with ADD, when in reality the problem is NDD (Nature Deficit Disorder)
The Soothing, calming and healing effect, of being in God’s creation, on the young soul is beyond comprehension, and it gives us great joy to see how young people’s lives are changed by spending time in nature.
Help:
We like to be part of the network of good in this world, for that reason we engage with as many, like-minded NPO’s as possible, to help and support them where we can. Our personal efforts and efforts through the influence we have with NPO’s have reached all over the globe!
Mission:
Our mission is to keep expanding on all our Care Projects.
People: job creation, food security, Providing protein, youth camps and outreach and Donating to as many NPO’s as possible! After all – they are our hands where we cannot personally be!
Habitat: Adding more property to our rehab projects.
Wildlife: Re-introducing species, managing populations and ecosystems.
